The Transformed Space Features the Latest Collections and Curated Hawaiian Artwork
Wailea, Maui, Hawaii(March 27, 2023) –Louis Vuittonunveils its newly renovated store atThe Shops at Wailea, Maui’s premier luxury retail destination. Incorporating innovative materials and architectural design, the revamped space visually represents Louis Vuitton’s heritage and craftsmanship combined with thoughtful references to Hawaiian culture. Highly-coveted items and the latest collections will be available, prompting patrons to explore “La Maison,” the World of Louis Vuitton. To celebrate the store’s reimagining, a Hawaiian blessing ceremony took place on Friday, March 24.

A fully redesigned interior with specially curated artwork punctuates the store’s updated look. Elements of traditional Hawaiian architecture form the foundation of the fresh layout, featuring a high ceiling and a centralgatheringpoint.AcommissionedfriezeofHawaiianfloralsaccentsthewalls,alongside extraordinary pieces from local artists Mike Tyau, Jerome Tham Vo My and Taylor Binda. Thetransformedspaceoffersadiversearrayoftheiconicbrand’smetiérs,includingwomen’s ready-to-wear apparel and accessories, fragrances, watches and fine jewelry, high-end leather goods, shoes, travel bags and luggage collection. Also on display are exclusive pieces from Louis Vuitton’s exceptional Objets Nomades collection, inspired by travel and design. Such limited-edition collectibles include furniture and décor created as a collaboration between Louis Vuitton expert artisans and globally renowned designers. Among the selections featured at The Shops at Wailea store are the Aguacate, a dynamic modular leather artwork by the Campana Brothers, and the Totem Lumineux, a playfully enlarged floor lamp made of Murano glass and marble, by Studio Louis Vuitton.
